Description of activities:The Innovation Incubator at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak supports the creation of innovations, startup entrepreneurship, and the development of an innovation culture among students, researchers, band faculty members. The incubator’s goal within scientific research organizations is to promote innovation activities, raise awareness about innovation and product development, and create opportunities for innovators.
Target group: Students, researchers, teaching staff
Territory: Moravica district
Achievements:
• Over 60 activities of various types were held in total;
• The total number of participants in activities conducted at the Incubator exceeds 250;
• The total number of users of the Innovation Incubator’s services is around 60;
• A total of 8 teams have gone through the Incubator’s program;
• Trainings and workshops were conducted for target groups in various fields, such as an
introduction to the startup world, idea generation, business plan writing, and marketing;
• The competencies of the Incubator team members were improved by attending various training programs led by professors from MIT, the Science and Technology Park Čačak, and others;
• Business-technical cooperation was established with other actors in the innovation ecosystem in the region;
• Providing infrastructure and mentorship support for working with startup teams;
• Connecting with the local economy.
