Title: Doctor of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor – Department of English Studies
Tatjana Grujić has worked as English language instructor teaching at the tertiary level of education (at the Faculty of Philology, University in Belgrade; Faculty of Philology and Arts, University in Kragujevac; Faculty of Economics, University in Kragujevac and Faculty of Law, University in Kragujevac).
She has developed and taught various undergraduate courses including: Advanced English Grammar, Proficiency English Grammar, Advanced Vocabulary for the Students of English, Proficiency Vocabulary for the Students of English, Translation Procedures, Editing and Proofreading for Translators, English for students of Economics and Legal English.
She also actively participated in the Tempus curriculum development project Reforming Foreign Language Studies in Serbia, which resulted in MA course Master in Conference Interpretation and Translation organized at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.
She has completed the start-up mentor training course Expert2Mentors, organized as part of the Venture an Idea project (S: Preduzmi ideju) lead by Initiative ’Digital Serbia’ in partnership with the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, Nova Iskra, PricewaterhouseCoopers and SEE ICT, with the support of the American people throught the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
She has actively participated in the start-up mentoring programme implemented by the Innovation Incubator of the University of Kragujevac, as the junior mentor of the Nutss start-up team.
She is also a certified translator and interpreter into and from English.
Her research interests comprise Applied Linguistics, Languagage Acquisition, English grammar, English vocabulary teaching, Language testing, Cognitive Linguistics (especially Cognitive Metaphor Theory) and Cognitive Semantics.
