Description of Activities: RRA Zlatibor is focused on encouraging and improving regional economic development through the implementation of various projects and programs. RRA acts as an intermediary between local communities, entrepreneurs, investors and donors, and provides support in the following areas: strategic planning and regional development, support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurship development, support for agriculture and rural development, access to EU and international funds donors, development of infrastructure, promotion of innovations and new technologies, connecting actors in the region, development of human resources, sustainable development.
RRA Zlatibor has a key role in connecting different actors in regional communities, with the aim of ensuring economic growth and social development through sustainable and strategically planned activities.
Target group:The target groups of regional development agencies (RDAs) in Serbia include various actors who contribute to the economic and social development of the region. These groups include:
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – RDA provides support to enterprises in the form of training, counseling, financial programs and connections with investors.
- Entrepreneurs and startup companies – Focus on the development of entrepreneurship through mentoring, financial support, business incubators and education.
- Local governments – Support to cities and municipalities in the development and implementation of regional development projects, applying for EU funds and other forms of assistance.
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) – Partnership in projects of sustainable development, social inclusion and environmental sustainability.
- Educational institutions – Cooperation with schools, universities and research centers on projects involving education and innovation.
- Investors and donors – an intermediary between investors and local projects, promoting regional development.
- Farmers and cooperatives – RDA provides technical and financial support for the development of the agricultural sector and rural areas.
- Employed and unemployed – Training, retraining and self-employment programs aimed at reducing unemployment.
- Development institutions and agencies – Partnership and coordination with national and international institutions that provide financial or technical support.
The goal of RDA is to enable sustainable regional development through the cooperation of all these actors and the implementation of strategic development plans.
