Prof. dr Ivana Ćirković Miladinović

Title: Associate Professor

Ivana Ćirkovic Miladinović, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education in Jagodina, is an expert in the field of Methodology of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is currently teaching ESP, TEFL, TEYL and EAP at the Faculty of Education in Jagodina, University of Kragujevac in Serbia. After getting the national scholarship award, she completed her MA studies at the School of Education, University of Nottingham, UK. In 2014 she defended her PhD thesis in the area of Methodology of ELT. Her current interest is in language learning strategies, cognitive linguistics with a focus on affective learning strategies, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) and teaching foreign language at the university level.

She has published over 60 papers and presented at international conferences in the country and abroad. As a dedicated member of a scientific community, she organised many international conferences and was engaged in international cooperation with foreign faculties. Namely, Dr Ćirković-Miladinović taught at four universities abroad during her Erasmus plus mobility period: Philipps University in Marburg, Germany; University of Porto, Portugal, Ilia State University in Tbilisi in Georgia and Eötvös József College in Baja, Hungary. Further, apart from her experience of being Erasmus plus coordinator from 2015 to 2018, she has experience in Tempus project work and Erasmus plus projects. She was the co-author and a project manager of BIP Erasmus plus ongoing project “New challenges in cross-cultural communication and education”, from 2021 to 2023. Furthermore, she was included into the realisation of several research activities in the process of promoting English language and practice in the country. Since 2022 she is a Head of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Education in Jagodina.
