Title: Research Associate
Milica Kandić was born on April 1, 1996, in Kragujevac. She enrolled at the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the University of Kragujevac in the 2015/2016 academic year. She graduated in September 2019, majoring in Serbian Language and Literature, and started her master’s studies in the 2019/2020 academic year at the same faculty. She completed her master’s studies in July 2020, defending her thesis titled The Image of Stone in the Poetry of Laza Kostić.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, she began her doctoral studies in Serbian Language and Literature (literature module) at the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the University of Kragujevac. In March 2021, she was appointed as a research assistant within the Center for Scientific Research. Since December 2023, she has been appointed as a research associate in the same center.
Since 2022, she has participated in a two-year cycle of the project Literary-Linguistic-Cultural Humano(ethical) Perspective: Good – Bad, Evil at the Center for Scientific Research of the Faculty of Philology and Arts. From 2024, she has been working as a collaborator on the scientific project Literary Past and Present in Southeast Serbia, where she has been proofreading novels and poetry collections. Starting in 2024, she is also involved in a two-year cycle of the project Meteoropoetics in Literature, Language, and Art at the Center for Scientific Research of the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the University of Kragujevac. Her research interests include Serbian literature of Romanticism, folk literature, and postmodern Serbian literature.
