Title: Research Associate
Milena Živković is a research associate at the Faculty of Sciences in Kragujevac. Her research focuses on the application of Monte Carlo simulations in medicine, particularly on the development and use of the FOTELP-VOX software for particle transport in radiotherapy. She excels in the field of dosimetry, calculating absorbed doses in various tissues, and optimizing radiotherapy treatments through the application of artificial intelligence. Milena is a co-author of the monograph “Application of Monte Carlo Programs and Phantoms in Dosimetry” and has published numerous papers in renowned international journals. She has been awarded multiple times for her research, including being named the best researcher at the Faculty of Sciences in 2023. Milena is also deeply involved in mentoring talented students, achieving first places in competitions, and organizing science workshops aimed at popularizing science.
