Jelena M. Pavlović Jovanović

Title: Research Associate

Jelena M. Pavlović Jovanović was born in Kruševac on the 3rd of February 1988. She finished primary and high school in her hometown. She finished bachelor and master studies of Serbian language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš. She completed PhD studies at the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac on the 3rd of October 2023 by defending her thesis titled “The subordinate clause in the 19th century Serbian legal language” under the mentorship of professor doctor Miloš Kovačević. She has been employed in the Research center of the Faculty of Philology and Arts since 2018 as a research intern and since 2021 as a research associate.

She has published over 50 scientific papers in the field of Serbian language and literature and teaching methodology for domestic students and foreigners. She has participated in over 50 international and national conferences and other academic gatherings. She studied abroad as an exchange student in Wroclaw (Poland), Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and Berlin (Germany). Her primary academic interests lie in the fields of studying Serbian legal and administrative language of the 19th century. She is active in promoting science over social media and participates in educating teachers of Serbian language and literature to utilize modern business techniques in education.
