Description of activities:The University of Kragujevac (UNIKG) is a state university that comprises 12 faculties and the Institute for Information Technologies. UNIKG integrates the functions of all faculties and organizational units in its composition, by implementing a unique policy focused on the continuous improvement of higher education activities, i.e, the improve-ment of the quality of teaching process, as science and research activities, as well as the creation of excellent conditions for work and development of the University. Today, UNIKG is a modern education and research center embracing almost all major areas of teaching and research, with a student population of 18.000 enrolled in more than 120 study programmes at all study levels (bachelor academic, master academic, integrated academic and doctoral academic studies) in the following study fields: Natural Sciences, Technical and Technological Sciences, Medical Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities and Arts.

Achievements:UNIKG has established cooperation with more than 200 academic and industrial partners from all over the world, including partnerships within international projects.UNIKG is the holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-2027″ as well as the “HR Excellence in Research” awards awarded by the European Commission. UNIKG is the coordinator and partner on numerous international projects that are financed within the EU programs such as Horizon2020, HorizonEurope, ERASMUS+, COST, CEI, etc.
