Title: Assistant Professor
Milena Podovac was born on 22.01.1987. in Kraljevo. She graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac (study program Business Economics and Management, Tourism and Hotel Management) with an average grade of 9.13. She enrolled her Master of Academic Studies at the study program Business Economics and Management (study program Tourism management) at the Faculty of Economics, University of Kragujevac. She received her master’s degree in 2012, defending her master’s thesis entitled ” Managing tourist destinations in countries of European Union” with an average grade of 9.00. She enrolled in PhD academic studies at Singidunum University (study program Tourism Management) in 2012. She passed all the required exams with a grade point average of 9.92. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled ” Strategic bases of tourism development in cities of Serbia” in 2019, gaining her scientific title of “PhD-Management and Business”.
She entered into employment in 2011 as Teaching Assistant for research field of Management and Business at the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism in Vrnjačka Banja, University of Kragujevac. The field of her scientific and professional interest is related to the: urban tourism, tourism, tourism management and contemporary trends in tourism.
So far, Milena Podovac has published published more than 60 scientific papers in the M20 and M50 categories, as well as in proceedings from national and international scientific conference.
